Suspect At Large After Stealing $1.5K Worth Of Items From CVS, Darien Police Say

A suspect is on the loose after allegedly stealing more than $1,500 in items from a Fairfield County CVS location, police said.

Officers from the Darien Police Department responded to CVS on Post Road on Monday, Feb. 24, where there was a report of a larceny that had just taken place at approximately 4:45 p.m. that day.

According to police, an employee at CVS told investigators that the suspect entered the store and began taking multiple female cosmetics off the shelves. 

When he was approached by an employee asking if he needs assistance, the man proceeded to run out of the rear exit of the store into the parking lot.

The man took off in an unknown direction. The value of the stolen cosmetics is approximately $1,538.82.

The suspect was described by police as a Hispanic male. Officers canvassed the area during the investigation following the larceny, but were unable to locate the man.
